Hatsya is a blue giant star in the constellation Orion. At 1,438 light years away, it is the 123rd brightest star in the Earth's sky, where it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 2.75. Hatsya is the primary component of a multiple-star system. The iron abundance of Hatsya is +0.05 (112.2% of the Sun). It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 31.5 km/s relative to the Sun and is part of the Orion Molecular Cloud and Collinder 70 and NGC 1981 and Running Man and Orion Nebula and NGC 1980 moving groups. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 25,000 and 27,200 light years from the center of the Galaxy.
