p Carinae (HIP 51576)

p Carinae is a blue main-sequence star in the constellation Carina. At 484 light years away, it is the 233rd brightest star in the Earth's sky, where it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 3.30. It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 29.7 km/s relative to the Sun and is part of the Southern Pleiades moving group. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 18,000 and 24,200 light years from the center of the Galaxy. It came closest to the Sun 4.3 million years ago when it had brightened to magnitude 1.73 from a distance of 235 light years.
