Tureis is a white supergiant star in the constellation Carina. At 765 light years away, it is the 67th brightest star in the Earth's sky, where it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 2.21. The iron abundance of Tureis is -0.23 (58.9% of the Sun). It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 27.6 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 23,700 and 24,200 light years from the center of the Galaxy.
