Omega-1 Scorpii is a blue main-sequence star in the constellation Scorpius. At 470 light years away, it is the 483rd brightest star in the Earth's sky, where it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 3.93. It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 17.7 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 21,800 and 24,400 light years from the center of the Galaxy.
