HD 290327 is a yellow subgiant star in the constellation Orion. At 183 light years away, it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 8.99. It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 40.3 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 16,800 and 24,300 light years from the center of the Galaxy. It came closest to the Sun 1000,000 years ago when it had brightened to magnitude 8.15 from a distance of 124 light years. HD 290327 has one confirmed planet known to date (July 2013).
