30 Aquarii is a yellow giant star in the constellation Aquarius. At 303 light years away, it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 5.55. The iron abundance of 30 Aquarii is -0.02 (95.5% of the Sun). It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 36.3 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 24,000 and 47,100 light years from the center of the Galaxy. It came closest to the Sun 2.1 million years ago when it had brightened to magnitude 4.34 from a distance of 174 light years.
